General Jaafari, Chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard was noted as saying despite the fact of the United States superior Air Power, and it’s advanced electronics, Iran can retaliate just as the hezbollah fighters beat the regions strongest high tech military in the 33 day war against Israel.
Iran’s general boasted that their precision missiles would be able to easily hit the American troops attacking Iran.
The United States Armed Forces have numerous bases in Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Yemen but his threat could also be interpreted to cover U.S. Military in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The General Jaafari said that if Israel plays a part in an American attack it will be exposed to danger from states such as Syria and Muslims in the region ie. the Palestinians, and hezbollah.
Jaafari stated further that their resources and the reach of their missiles cover Israel and all of occupied Palestine is exposed to danger.
General Jaafari does not believe Israel would play such a part knowing well that Iran would unleash its missiles on Israel, and would open the door for Iran, and its allies to do as they wish to Israel.
During Israel’s ballistic missile test back in January during the Russian War games General Jaafari said sure the Israelis have their missiles, and are flexing their muscles. They could even have them aimed at us now. We however know from their past history that they would not make such a grave mistake as to fire them on Iran.
Jaafari further stated after being asked what Iran would do if Syria were attacked, he replied we are duty bound to assist any Islamic State under attack.
Jaafari also stated that they have the same right to have their boats do inspections just as the UN, and U.S. search boats suspected of hauling terrorist.
